It’s easy for us to get pre-occupied with religiosity and activity. That’s why it’s important for us to have a reminder every now and then that it’s not by power and it’s not by might. We were not saved by our works or activities. We were not saved by religion or devotion. It is only by the grace of God, lest any man should boast.

For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: not of works, lest any man should boast.
Ephesians 2:8 KJV
